iCare Inks Partnership with Healthway Cancer Care Hospital HCCH as its First Accredited HMO Partner

TAGUIG, Philippines – iCare President and CEO Maria Noemi Azura and AC Health President and CEO Paolo Borromeo closed the deal during a signing event on May 8, making iCare the first accredited HMO partner of Healthway Cancer Care Hospital (HCCH).

The partnership comes with Healthway Medical Network (HMN) and iCare’s commitment to make preventive care, comprehensive cancer care, and general medical services more accessible to Filipinos.

Ms. Azura noted that iCare said yes to this collaboration “so that our Filipino kababayans can say yes to better treatment for cancer.”

The agreement brings an enhanced patient experience with seamless transaction with both parties having designated coordinators who will assist with the patient’s needs. This means that iCare members will be able to avail themselves of the needed immediate medical services.

HMN and iCare commits to make preventive care, comprehensive cancer care, and general medical services more accessible to Filipinos.

HMN President and CEO Jaime Ysmael noted that he believes the partnership has the power to build a healthier future for the entire nation. “With HCCH fully operational, we are opening our doors not just to provide treatment, but also to give hope,” Mr. Ysmael added.

Further, Mr. Borromeo added that HHCH does not only aim to provide medical treatment but also pave the way to a healthier future. “Together, we can cultivate a healthcare ecosystem where Filipinos can access the care they require without the burden of financial worries.”
