Worried about being infected with covid-19 through sweat?
Though bacteria comes up in sweat, the Covid-19 virus is not submitted through sweat, but through droplet transmission. This means that when an infected person coughs or sneezes, they expel tiny water droplets with the virus that land on surfaces, or yourself. When you come in contact with this and end up touching your eyes or mouth, that puts you at risk for infection.
To avoid infection, it is best to practice wiping down mats or equipment before and after use.
