iCare believes in enriching communities to bring the better health goal to every individual through health education and literacy campaigns that are relevant and responsive to the needs of everyone, contributing to a continual impact on the community and the country.
To improve health literacy, attitudes, and practices towards healthcare, iCare shares the Better Together vision with Mu Sigma Phi sorority, the first medical sorority in the Philippines and in Asia, in engaging in a Health Education and Literacy Campaign.
A few of the Mu Sigma Phi’s current projects include the Quisumbing Escandor Film Festival, which is a film-making competition promoting awareness on the health issues the country is currently facing; and Project H20, which aims to provide water through a portable filtration system for communities affected by catastrophes.
