Asian Hospital and Medical Center Among Asia Pacific’s Best for 2025 as iCare celebrates partnership with Blood Donation Drive

Asian Hospital and Medical Center has been named as one of Top Specialized Hospitals in the Asia Pacific for 2025 by Newsweek, in partnership with leading global data firm Statista. This honor reflects its deep commitment to excellence, compassionate patient care, and continuous innovation that sets the standard in the healthcare industry.

The recognition names Asian Hospital and Medical Center as a top hospital for nine medical specialties: cardiac surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and pulmonology.

This latest achievement reaffirms Asian Hospital’s stance in healthcare: Global Expertise, Filipino Heart. Its consistent excellence in clinical leadership has earned notable distinctions, including the Patient Care Initiative of the Year and Clinical Service Initiative of the Year at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2023.

In 2022, on its 20th year, Asian Hospital received its 4th Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission International, the world’s largest healthcare accrediting body.

For iCare, this milestone is a testament to what strong partnerships can do for the community. With nearly 2,000 iCare-accredited hospitals and clinics nationwide, Asian Hospital has remained a consistent partner in enabling Filipinos to #SayYesToBetterHealth.

Together, we deliver clinical excellence while reimagining what is possible in healthcare.

Adding to this remarkable moment, iCare partnered with Asian Hospital and Medical Center for a blood donation drive, bringing communities together through shared values of giving, trust, loyalty, and efficiency, all in the spirit of saving lives.

“The country’s dwindling blood reserves stem from a combination of insufficient donation and increasing demand, thus impacting patient care significantly,” said Dr. Neslen Guanzon, MD, iCare’s Associate Medical Officer.

“iCare fully supports Asian Hospital and Medical Center’s initiative to augment the reserves through the blood donation drive. We hope to make this a sustainable collaboration to be able to touch more lives.”

“AHI- Blood Bank & Donor Center believes that partnering with iCare will not only help increase awareness but also encourage more individuals to participate in this life-saving advocacy. This collaboration aims to promote voluntary donations and extend support to our community,” Lesley Anne A. Cadayona, RMTManager, Blood Bank & Donor Center and Anatomic Pathology of Asia’s Hospital Medical Center added.

We look forward to continuing meaningful partnerships that create life-saving impact and leave lasting value in every community we serve.
